PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
The San Mateo-Hayward Bridge is an approximately seven-mile long crossing of San Francisco Bay along Route 92 which connects Foster City in San Mateo County and Hayward in Alameda County. The bridge is comprised of a 220-foot long, four-span concrete T-beam approach structure, a 1.85-mile long, six-lane, dual steel box girder structure, and an approximately five-mile long, four-lane concrete trestle.

CRSS/Carter + Burgess was selected to do the seismic retrofit with Faye Bernstein & Associates as a subconsultant.
